2020 Year in Review - Indiana Photographer

2020 was quite a year. Even with all that was going on in the world, my business still grew. I photographed many new families and several weddings. I got to see a few new babies and spend time with lots of wonderful kiddos. Seniors are beginning to add into the mix and I have really enjoyed getting a feel for photographing subjects that don’t run around. :) I even got to help with a business and dabble in some product/marketing photography.

I have grown personally and professionally over this year for the better. I was grateful to get to attend The Reset Conference in September and learn from some of the best in the industry. I love getting to reset my mind and turn my focus solely on my photography.

I am looking forward to 2021! I will be patiently awaiting the arrival several new babies this year. And I have several couples planning their dream weddings. I know this year is going to be wonderful!!

I had so many wonderful sessions 2020. Here are just a few of my favorites. Trust me…I have soooo many more I wanted to share, but that blog post would be waaaayyyy too long.

I am so blessed to have so many wonderful clients. I look forward to working with each of them again and adding new clients into the mix. My clients are like my family. I want to treat them with love and respect. And give them photographs that will be passed down from generation to generation to tell a story!

Vacation Vibes! - Cayman Islands

We were so lucky to get to go on a trip to the Cayman Islands for Spring Break. What makes it even better is when Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, cousins, and Great-grandparents get to be there with you! 23 people total! We stay at the Villas of the Galleon and LOVE it there.

On our trip when swam in the ocean, built sand castles, caught sand crabs, snorkeled, swam with stingrays, visited the turtle farm, watched beautiful sunsets, and had a wonderful time! My family has been vacationing in the Cayman Islands since before I was born. I am so happy I get to share the love of this island with my children. Can’t wait to visit again in a few years!

We're Going on a Bear Hunt! - Boden turns 2!

Last weekend we celebrated Boden’s birthday. He loves the book We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. I decided it would be fun to make that the theme for his 2nd birthday. We decorated with as many stuffed bears as we could find around the house. For lunch we had chili and hamburger sliders with sides of “bearies”, a jello river, and thick, oozy mud(dirt pudding) for dessert. Boden’s Bear Cave Cake was made with brownies and even had a bear with two big, googly eyes.

The kids made binoculars for the “Bear Hunt”. We read the story to them as they made their way through the different obstacles set up in the basement. Tall, wavy grass — deep, cold river — thick, oozy mud — big, dark forest — swirling, whirling snowstorm — narrow, gloomy cave. They had so much fun!

A special thanks to Lynnette Davis for helping me put together this fun party! She does awesome work if you are looking for someone to help you plan your next party!

With love,

Jennifer
