Clare + Tyler :: Charming Summer Midwest Wedding

Clare and Tyler had a beautiful, charming wedding. Even though there was rain, their day was still so special. Clare and Tyler are one of the sweetest couples I know. They are down to earth, sarcastic, loving, poised, and polite. I loved working with them both.

Their ceremony had to be held inside the Wallhill Farm reception hall instead of outside, but the rain didn’t stop this couple from having a lovely ceremony. Clare and Tyler planted a seed during their ceremony to symbolize the start of their married life together. To watch their love and a plant grow over time will be so great!

The couple added so many unique details to their wedding day. Clare had such a beautiful veil with gorgeous lined lace edges. Tyler had the coolest WOODEN bowtie. They rode away in a really neat old car that was the perfect prop for some of their photos. Some other details from their day that I loved were the tandem bike and fun glow stick exit.

It was an honor to capture these moments for you both! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Leeds!!

May God bless your lives together.

With love, Jennifer

Stephanie + Keith :: Midwest Fall Engagement

These two lovebirds had a perfect evening for their fall engagement session. We started the session downtown Greensburg and then headed to Stephanie’s grandfather’s land to finish off the evening. Stephanie and Keith are so sweet and fun to be around. They are laid back and easy going. Plus, you can definitely tell they are in love!

I always love getting to know my couples during their engagement session. I believe that it makes the wedding day go so much smoother. I get a little back story on how they met, how he proposed, what their interests are, etc. They get to learn a little about me, how I like to photograph, how I pose my couples during the session, my personality, etc. All of this together just makes everyone more comfortable on their big day and they won’t stress over what the photographer will be like on the day they will be married.

Photographing weddings has been a passion of mine for many years. I starting shooting weddings in 2013 as an associate wedding photographer in Indianapolis. While doing this, my skills for photographing weddings improved as well as my confidence. I am very grateful that I was able to learn from some amazing photographers during that time. Over the last couple of years, I have become an associate wedding photographer for two other companies and have started to photograph weddings through Jennifer Davis Photography since moving to Greensburg. I am excited for this part of my business to grow in the future. I love my couples and want their wedding photography to be wonderful. I seriously cannot wait to photograph more couples for their engagements and weddings. If you know anyone who recently got engaged please send them my way! I would LOVE to chat about their wedding photography dreams.

Emma + Josh :: Midwest Fall Wedding

Emma and Josh’s wedding was so much fun to photograph! After their original venue informed they they couldn’t have their wedding there due to COVID, a wonderful friend offered their barn as a ceremony site. It was a lovely, white, wooden barn next to fall colored tree line. Since their venue cancelled, they only had their wedding party and family members attend their wedding. Emma was such a trooper throughout the whole day. The quote for the day was, “It’s fine.” I think that quote can apply to most of 2020!

Emma had rockin’ stoned and studded cowgirl boots. And their wedding bands were so unique! Josh’s ring had moose on it! Another detail that was awesome was the fact that Emma’s “wedding dress” was from AMAZON! It was a tule skirt paired with a white blouse. And it was PERFECT!! Talk about being chic on a budget!

Their ceremony was simple and small. And their love is big and beautiful!

After the ceremony, we had a wonderful time with their portraits. The barn owner also let them borrow their PINK VOLKSWAGEN VAN! It was such a special detail to have for photos. And it complimented Emma’s boho side. That will definitely be a wedding detail to remember!

Even though this year has been a little bit crazy, Josh and Emma made their special day happen. I was so honored to be a part of it.

It was an honor to capture these moments for you both! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stewart!!

May God bless your lives together.

Sabrina and Jacob’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! Their ceremony and reception took place at Willow Lake Event Center in North Vernon, Indiana. With subtle blue, green, and ivory details, the atmosphere was very elegant. I was delighted to be a part of their beautiful wedding day. I pray their marriage will be strong in love and respect for each other.

Maxwell + Claire - Engagement Session - Greensburg, Indiana Wedding Photographer

Max and Claire met while showing goats across Indiana. They are seriously the sweetest couple. I had such a wonderful time during their engagement session and getting to know them more.

After we spent a little time downtown Columbus, Indiana, we headed out to their farm for some photos with their goats. I felt a little nostalgic around the goats while remembering how I worked for a few years working for a small ruminant (sheep and goats) veterinarian. As a vet tech goats are not my favorite to work with, but I have to say when they are my photography subjects and so well behaved they were quite nice! :) And those baby goats!! So cute! I love when couples have animals included in their sessions. Here is another engagement session with pets!

Claire and Max will be getting married next March. I am looking forward to being part of their special day. I pray that God will bless their relationship and marriage.
