This family is seriously the sweetest!! Those girls! :) They just melt my heart. Mom and Dad wanted their session at their family home. It was the perfect setting for an evening session. And those willow trees were gorgeous with the sun coming through! Anthony planted them himself and I’m going to admit, I am a little jealous. He is going to have to teach me how.

Their youngest daughter was so cute. When it wasn’t her turn in front of the camera, she was right by me, interested in what I was doing and wanting to be a big helper. There were giggles from everyone! I love when family sessions are stress free and enjoyable for everyone! That is always my goal when shooting…no matter if it’s a family session, a senior, or even a wedding. I want the atmosphere to be inviting and relaxing.

Barker Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

The Barker Family was so fun to hang out with during their session. These boys were great! Of course, who wouldn’t want to go wading into a creek and go on a fun adventure? We were ankle deep in water and loving every minute! Mom and Dad were troopers and very go with the flow. That made my job easier as we just had a good time. The boys were just being boys!

Maxwell + Claire - Engagement Session - Greensburg, Indiana Wedding Photographer

Max and Claire met while showing goats across Indiana. They are seriously the sweetest couple. I had such a wonderful time during their engagement session and getting to know them more.

After we spent a little time downtown Columbus, Indiana, we headed out to their farm for some photos with their goats. I felt a little nostalgic around the goats while remembering how I worked for a few years working for a small ruminant (sheep and goats) veterinarian. As a vet tech goats are not my favorite to work with, but I have to say when they are my photography subjects and so well behaved they were quite nice! :) And those baby goats!! So cute! I love when couples have animals included in their sessions. Here is another engagement session with pets!

Claire and Max will be getting married next March. I am looking forward to being part of their special day. I pray that God will bless their relationship and marriage.

The Jacob Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

This sweet family has grown by two since I starting taking photos for them. I did Porter(2nd brother) and June’s newborn sessions, along with their six month sessions and Porter’s one year session. They are always so fun to catch up with and see how they’ve grown.

Their family doesn’t live very close to me now, so we plan accordingly to have sessions somewhere in the middle or at my studio for the kids’ milestone sessions. This session was tricky because we were meeting in the middle and there was rain in the forecast. With a little longer of a drive, I am always on my toes with the weather. Thankfully, we were able to get the session in before the rain came. And mom did a wonderful job of putting their outfits together. Perfect for a cool, fall day!

Jenna & Kendall - Wedding - Greensburg, Indiana Wedding Photographer

Jenna and Kendall had a perfect late summer wedding! A day full of love along with a faith filled ceremony. Their lovely ceremony was held a Brushy Fork Baptist Church in the middle of the country. It was a perfect little white church! These two love birds decided to wait until their ceremony to see each other. Kendall’s face was glowing with admiration and excitement for his stunning bride. With a jam packed church full of family and friends, Jenna and Kendall vowed their love for one another and that they would lead a Christ focused life together.

Following the ceremony, we headed the reception at Wallhill Farm in Batesville. At Wallhill, there was a beautiful pond and sunflower field to use as a gorgeous setting for their bridal portraits. After sunset photos, the bride and groom spent some time dancing and making memories with wedding guests.

Lincoln 1 Year Old - Cake Smash - Greensburg, Indiana Photographer

One year sessions are always fun! Especially when I have gotten to watch them grow over their first year of life! I have photographed Lincoln every 3 months for the last year. His personality has been fun to watch develop and change from each session. I’m excited to see him grow into a baseball loving, tractor riding, fun loving little brother!
