This family is seriously the sweetest!! Those girls! :) They just melt my heart. Mom and Dad wanted their session at their family home. It was the perfect setting for an evening session. And those willow trees were gorgeous with the sun coming through! Anthony planted them himself and I’m going to admit, I am a little jealous. He is going to have to teach me how.

Their youngest daughter was so cute. When it wasn’t her turn in front of the camera, she was right by me, interested in what I was doing and wanting to be a big helper. There were giggles from everyone! I love when family sessions are stress free and enjoyable for everyone! That is always my goal when shooting…no matter if it’s a family session, a senior, or even a wedding. I want the atmosphere to be inviting and relaxing.

The Walton Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

I’m so glad I got to catch up with this stylish little family this fall. And I am LOVING these urban session locations. It also helps when you have a wonderful family to model for you! :)

Katie and Adam have the cutest little boys ever! They are so fun! They were definitely making me laugh.

I always try to get several different pairings when doing family sessions. Mom with each child, dad with each child, all kiddos together, individuals of kids, and lots of everyone together. LOTS of options!! I want them to be able to choose from several options and decide which ones are their favorites. Yes, I like the organic, unposed, natural poses that are more artsy and not everyone is looking at the camera. But…I know when I have family photos done, I ALWAYS want several of everyone smiling naturally and having a good time. Those are the ones I print. And I want to also give those to my clients. So, yes…when you have a session with me, be prepared to have fun, laugh, love on each other, but also look here and smile.

The Bergin Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

The Bergin Family is one of my FAVORITES!! I have been photographing their family for a while now. Well…since their wedding in 2012 actually. I have watched them grow over time from a family of two to three and then to four. Their girls both have very unique and fun personalities. Based on what their mother said, I captured those different personalities very well in these photos.

These girls made me smile…. at their session, while editing, and even while typing this! I can always tell it’s a great session when I just smile the whole time. I was so happy when Ashley(mom) sent me a message that said, “My favorite session you've ever done, hands down. So, so good!”.

I’m so appreciative of my clients. ALL of them. And I especially LOVE when they become repeat clients…and friends!

Nolan is ONE!! - Greensburg, Indiana Children Photographer

Sweet little Nolan is ONE! I have been blessed to get to see this little man every six months for milestone sessions since his newborn session. He is such a handsome little guy! I can’t wait to see what the future has for Nolan!

Side note: I have been photographing this family since before they were a family! I photographed mom and dad in their engagement session, their wedding, and their daughter’s first year milestones. And now I just added their son’s first year to this list of life events I have photographed for their family.

We got to do their session at Trader’s Point Creamery in Indianapolis. It is so beautiful in their garden! And another fun fact, mom and dad had their engagement pictures taken there as well! :)

The Hahn Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

This family session was absolutely perfect! A beautiful family, in an amazing location, wearing great complementary outfits. Momma, you planned everything wonderfully!

It’s funny how small the world actually is. Beth found me through a family I photographed up in Indy. But, the funny thing is, her husband is from my hometown! And when they wanted to come down to the local Christmas tree farm, I was ecstatic! Since moving back to Greensburg, I hadn’t done a session at Bohman’s Christmas Tree Farm yet. I was very thankful they gave me permission to do some sessions there.

The Walton Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

The Walton Family lives in our old neighborhood. Now I live an hour away from them! I was so happy when Katie contacted me about another family session for them. I love watching these boys grow! They are so fun! And that makes them easy to photograph because I feel like they always have smiles on their faces.

We met halfway at Southeastway Park to be able to get the session it. It was a BEAUTIFUL warm fall day. Perfect for a family session with little one. I just love how these turned out!
