Baby Colleen - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

Beautiful Colleen arrived in this world into a busy, very active, large, loving family. She is number four for Molly and Shawn. Molly is a sorority sister of mine from college and I always love seeing her growing family. She is one of the strongest women I know. I mean, any woman with that many kids has to be strong, right?

And, when you have lots of little ones for family photos, it isn't unusual for one or more of them to have moments where they aren't sure they want to smile, look at the camera, or be in the photos at all! So...we improvise! They decided that a tea party with their baby sister was a perfect idea. We set up a blanket and just let them play. It was fun to watch their personalities and imaginations stand out during this little part of the session. 

After the lovely time at the tea party, I spent some time with just sweet baby Colleen. I loved that we got to be outside for this newborn session. The grass was so green and the quilt colors made the photos pop. Also, the sun was so warm(which is perfect for new babies!).

I can't wait to watch all these littles grow! They have so much joy and happiness in their eyes.

Middendorf Family - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

Sara and I grew up in the same small town. She was a couple of years ahead of me in school and we were on the soccer team together once we were in high school. I always looked up to her. She was super athletic, really confident & competitive, and one of those positive spirits you just wanted to be around. Now that I have moved back to Greensburg with my family, Sara and I have been working out together and I still feel the same way about her as I did in high school. I'm glad I get to spend time with her. 

Sara and Adam have a pretty cute little family. I was excited to spend time with them last week. We headed to Downtown Greensburg for their session. The Middendorfs were so fun! Mackenzie let me try out my Senior Photography skills. Brinlly has so much personality and it definitely came out during their session. Sweet little Reece was so serious, but oh so cute. I always know when it was a great session because I smile while editing. And I certainly was smiling!

Samuel - Lifestyle Newborn Session - Greensburg, Indiana Newborn Photographer

I can't get enough of this little family. They are just the cutest! Their newest little one is so handsome! I was so excited to get to hang out with sweet Samuel for a few hours. He had moments of being very alert and interested in me and then he fell asleep for pretty much the rest of his session. His mother says he barely cries and has been a perfect new baby. 

Big brother was a typical two year old during his little brother's session. He kind of stole the show when it was his turn to be in photos. Charlie has a big personality and is so entertaining. I love listening to him talk with his sweet little voice. He is really going to be a great big brother. And his parents will have their hands and hearts full with these boys! :)

While getting some photos of the nursery, I peeked out the window and notice a super cute shed in the backyard. I had to grab the family to take some pictures outside. I am so glad they did! And since they are moving this year, having some photos of their old house will be so fun to look back on. 

I can't wait to watch this little one grow and see the relationship he builds with each one of his family members!

Baby Samuel - Fresh 48 Session - Greensburg, Indiana Newborn Photographer

He's here! And he is oh so handsome! Little Samuel arrived on Monday fast and furious! Jessica did an awesome job and wasn't in labor very long before their new little man arrived! His wrinkly little toes are so squishy. He seems to have that old man look to him that I think most boy babies have. Sam has perfect little skin and just a little hair. 

I had a chance to visit the following day and take some hospital photos of sweet Sam, mom, dad, and big brother, Charlie. I love Fresh 48 sessions for how pure and real they are. I love when older siblings get to meet their new little brother or sister. Charlie was so cute during the session. His little cute words are spoken so sweetly and you can just tell he will be a great big brother. 

The experience of this Fresh 48 session took me back to when my babies were born and when big brother and sister met their little brother just sixteen months ago! I am so happy I got to give these photos to this family. I know they will cherish them forever!

Daneri Twins 4 Years Old - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

I am so blessed to get to photograph these girls at least once a year. I have been taking their photos since they were 2! Now they are turning 4!! They have such a special bond and it is really cool to watch them interact and grow together. They definitely have separate personalities and I am starting to finally be able to tell them apart. 

And...this is a BIG year for these two. Why, do you ask? Because.... They are becoming Big Sisters!! :) I can't wait to meet their little sister in about a month.

Lincoln Daniel - Newborn - Greensburg, Indiana Family Photographer

It was wonderful to see Lynsi and James again for another newborn session. I was blessed to photograph their son, Henry, a couple of years ago. And I was honored to photograph their last little one. Lincoln is their FOURTH baby! 

Lynsi is an awesome mom! Life with little ones can be challenging(I know from experience), but she makes it look so easy. I loved that she decided to make Lincoln's newborn session just about him. His older siblings were at school or daycare, so we got to focus just on him. And since it was a lifestyle session at their home, I was able to capture the love between mom and dad...and stick little Lincoln in the mix. 

Lincoln was such a sweet baby boy. He definitely had this old man look on his face for most of the session. I had several favorite moments from this session...I couldn't just pick one! I loved the ones of Lynsi on the couch with him, caressing his hair. I loved the ones of dad holding him close and Lincoln looking so little in James' arms. I loved the ones of all three of them in the kitchen where mom is hugging dad from behind and just soaking it all in! And many more!

I am so excited to watch this handsome little one grow over the next year!
