Claire + Maxwell :: Midwest Winter Wedding

Claire and Maxwell had a beautiful winter wedding in March in Indiana. The weather was perfect! Not too cold, bright and sunny! Claire wore a gorgeous dress with a beautiful lace lined veil. Her bridesmaids looked lovely in their light blue dresses. The gentlemen were all wearing gray and very dapper.

Claire and Maxwell’s ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They were surrounded by so many family and friends. After their ceremony, they made a quick stop at the covered bridge in Westport. Claire and Max are just one of those couples where you can see how much they mean to each other. Their love shines through them.

It was an honor to capture these moments for you both!

May God bless your lives together.

Baby Madelyn :: Lifestyle newborn session

This family has been a client of mine for over 7 years. I was there to photograph Brittany and Kevin’s wedding and all of their children. This session was extra special because Baby Madelyn is a miracle baby. You see, she was born with her twin sister Charley who was born with a very rare genetic disorder. Charley was born with Triploidy. Children with this disorder have an extra set of every chromosome. Charley lived 17 days before going to be with Jesus. Getting to hear the stories about Charley and how special she was to her family was so amazing. God definitely had a purpose for her life and her light will live on with her family. Mom and Dad are so strong and brave. I know their faith has been a stronghold for them to hold on to during this difficult time.

Madelyn is finally home and she is being snuggled to pieces by her big sisters. These girls are going to have strongest bond. Sweet Maddie is absolutely beautiful! All the little details… from her toes, her ears, her nose, her lips, etc. When babies are awake during their session that doesn’t bother me. Capturing those big eyes and wondering what color they will end up is always a favorite of mine.

I am very thankful for this family. I can’t wait to watch the girls grow. Maybe one day I will do Madelyn’s senior photos!

Sara - 2021 Senior - Stylish Senior Session

Recently, I have been photographing high school seniors. And I’ll have to admit…I am really enjoying it. Senior sessions are SOOO different than family sessions or even engagements and weddings. I love how relaxed and easy going the sessions have been. For my senior sessions, I offer about 3 hours of coverage. You get to choose 3-5 different looks/outfits and usually 2-3 locations. I shoot each look for about 10-15 minutes before moving on to the next look.

I love getting to know these seniors. During the session, they share their interests and what their plans and dreams are for the future. It’s great to see how driven they are. Sara is no exception to this! She is going places. Her confidence is clearly present and shows in her photos. I look forward to hearing all the things see accomplishes in the years to come. Congratulations to her and all of the class of 2021. I know this last year hasn’t been easy, but I’m sure you want let it stop you!!

If you know a senior for graduating in 2022, send them my way! I look forward to seeing where the world takes them! And I’m excited to be a part of the journey! Contact me here.

Baby Xander - Lifestyle Newborn - Greensburg, Indiana Photographer

Welcome to the world sweet little Xander! This little guy was a perfect angel for his session. Mom and dad just adore him. And they are doing wonderful as brand new parents. I loved this relaxed lifestyle setting. From hanging out on the couch, to the cat wanting to be part of everything. :) Xander’s newborn is so cute! As is the whole Abplanalp household! I might have to have Linsey decorate for me!!

I have been very blessed to get to photograph so many beautiful newborns lately. Lifestyle sessions are definitely my jam when it comes to newborns. I love documenting the family bond in their home and the new baby in the nursery. I always bring wraps and props to do a few swaddled posed looks, but honestly….those cute swaddle blankets and simple onesies are always some of my favorites.

Do you know someone who is expecting?? I would LOVE to chat with them and be part of their wonderful journey. They can contact me at hello@jenndavisphoto.com or by clicking here.

Stephanie + Keith :: Midwest Fall Engagement

These two lovebirds had a perfect evening for their fall engagement session. We started the session downtown Greensburg and then headed to Stephanie’s grandfather’s land to finish off the evening. Stephanie and Keith are so sweet and fun to be around. They are laid back and easy going. Plus, you can definitely tell they are in love!

I always love getting to know my couples during their engagement session. I believe that it makes the wedding day go so much smoother. I get a little back story on how they met, how he proposed, what their interests are, etc. They get to learn a little about me, how I like to photograph, how I pose my couples during the session, my personality, etc. All of this together just makes everyone more comfortable on their big day and they won’t stress over what the photographer will be like on the day they will be married.

Photographing weddings has been a passion of mine for many years. I starting shooting weddings in 2013 as an associate wedding photographer in Indianapolis. While doing this, my skills for photographing weddings improved as well as my confidence. I am very grateful that I was able to learn from some amazing photographers during that time. Over the last couple of years, I have become an associate wedding photographer for two other companies and have started to photograph weddings through Jennifer Davis Photography since moving to Greensburg. I am excited for this part of my business to grow in the future. I love my couples and want their wedding photography to be wonderful. I seriously cannot wait to photograph more couples for their engagements and weddings. If you know anyone who recently got engaged please send them my way! I would LOVE to chat about their wedding photography dreams.

2020 Year in Review - Indiana Photographer

2020 was quite a year. Even with all that was going on in the world, my business still grew. I photographed many new families and several weddings. I got to see a few new babies and spend time with lots of wonderful kiddos. Seniors are beginning to add into the mix and I have really enjoyed getting a feel for photographing subjects that don’t run around. :) I even got to help with a business and dabble in some product/marketing photography.

I have grown personally and professionally over this year for the better. I was grateful to get to attend The Reset Conference in September and learn from some of the best in the industry. I love getting to reset my mind and turn my focus solely on my photography.

I am looking forward to 2021! I will be patiently awaiting the arrival several new babies this year. And I have several couples planning their dream weddings. I know this year is going to be wonderful!!

I had so many wonderful sessions 2020. Here are just a few of my favorites. Trust me…I have soooo many more I wanted to share, but that blog post would be waaaayyyy too long.
